Simone Gray, our latest Chartered Architectural Technologist
We are proud to announce that Simone Gray has successfully passed her Professional Assessment Interview and is now a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT).
With a background in Art and Design, and joining in 2012 initially in the administration team responsible for obtaining Ordnance Survey and Statutory Utilities information, Simone moved into the field of architectural technology with relative ease and become a key member of Bailey Partnership’s Architectural team.

An eye for detail and a passion for researching SEN provision saw her report on SEN facilities – an analysis of necessities for inclusion being Highly Commended in the CIAT Student Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology (Report) 2018.
Simone is the current Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) Western Region aspirATion group chair.
Simone’s work with CIAT has seen her travel around the country meeting like-minded young professionals as well as forming closer links with other regional professional bodies such as MatRICS, CIOBNovus, and the Plymouth Junior Lawyers Division
She has undertaken presentations on behalf of CIAT at the University of Plymouth specifically aimed at those studying BA (Hons) Architectural Technology and the Environment course, providing them with details on their next steps afterlife at University.
Simone works alongside 12 other CIAT members of differing grades across a number of sectors including education, healthcare, public, leisure, industrial, commercial and residential schemes at Bailey Partnership.
