Holiday Let Condition Lifted on 28 Lodges in Cornwall
Bailey Partnership in working with the clients have secured planning permission for the removal of a restrictive holiday let condition on 28 lodges in the open countryside. This planning approval now allows for unrestricted residential occupation.
Our Chartered Town Planning Team led on strategy from the outset and advised the clients to submit a pre-application enquiry whilst also simultaneously assisted with the engagement of the Parish Council. The formal planning application was supported by a robust planning statement which presented a compelling case for the restrictive condition to be lifted.
Despite the proposals being deemed contrary to the adopted Development Plan (Cornwall Local Plan) due to its rural location we were able to successfully demonstrate to the Planning Committee that the proposals would achieve significant benefits. These benefits were accepted by the Planning Committee who granted planning permission subject to a s106 legal agreement.
