Householder planning permission approved for extension in Plymouth
Bailey Partnership are delighted to secure planning permission for a two storey extension of Amberley Cottage, Staddiscombe.
The architecture and planning teams at Bailey Partnership worked with the client to develop detailed plans which took advantage of the beautiful views overlooking the garden and the valley beyond. Quality spaces were created within the extension, including a large kitchen-diner on the ground floor, and a generous master suite, complete with en suite and dressing area.
The plans also provided a feature chimney, adding to the character of the existing cottage and wider village. The planning officers were supportive of the proposals, noting that despite the size of the extension, it has been designed in such a way that limits visual impacts. Planning officers also felt that the materials used in the proposals complemented the existing cottage and local vernacular.
