Bailey Partnership is the 2009 winner of the South West Community Impact Team of the Year, part of the Business in the Community 2009 Awards for Excellence.
This year 358 organisations from across the UK entered the awards, with 12 awards received in the South West. Other award winners included University of Bristol, Zurich (UK), Ginsters, Kraft Foods and MITIE Group.
Bailey Partnership won this award for the positive impact it has made through Business in the Community's Cares programme. As an example, the firm took on a team challenge, completed in a day, which involved supplying a three course Christmas lunch for the Gates Project, a homeless charity based in Plymouth. Bailey Partnership developed successful partnerships with other local organisations including Wrigleys and Plymouth College to help complete the challenge, which involved fourteen staff from the practice.
The firm has benefited through increased morale in the office, closer team working and a strong feel good factor which is reflected in their pride working for Bailey Partnership and a continued active role in the community.
