The practice has been engaged on a wide variety of projects across the whole spectrum of construction from small residential projects to major Marine Civil Engineering schemes, with values up to £120 Million.
We aim to add value by supplementing the traditional, core service with specialised skills and innovations. We recognise that by aligning our service with changes in industry working practices and by investing in ICT, the traditional quantity surveying role can be adapted to impact as a broader cost management function within the construction industry.
We strive to bring an innovative approach to cost management and instil a cost discipline within the design team. This integrated process demands best value for clients and leads to final design solutions which meet cost targets. Our objective is to take an active role as controllers of cost at every stage of the project to ensure that financial effect is considered in parallel with design intent. We aim to plan and control costs, not report costs retrospectively. Working with clients, the practice endeavours to identify a balance between value for money and cost in use.
Our surveyors are able to undertake value engineering, risk management and lifecycle costing as part of the cost management function. We can also offer specialist advice regarding grants, capital allowances and taxation.
