Building Services Engineering

As clients require more sustainable, energy efficient, controlled facilities, the role of building services engineering increases. Using the latest software our engineers design, specify and procure building services for all client needs from geothermal heating to cutting edge cooling systems.

Our portfolio of building services engineering skills includes heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, lifts, security, communications and building management systems. We also undertake asset management plan surveys of building services and prepare and implement bespoke planned maintenance programmes.

Bailey Partnership's building services engineers are qualified as CIBSE Low Carbon Energy Assessors to produce Display Energy Certificates (DEC) and Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) which calculate the CO² emission rates for non-domestic properties. Acting as Competent Persons their calculations meet the requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations for the purposes of building control.

We also offer a full energy management service designed to fulfil all functions as if they were undertaken by a dedicated 'in house' Energy Manager. This includes utility connections, energy procurement and contract management, tariff analysis, monitoring and benchmarking and technical support and advice.

Our overall aim is to reduce clients' costs by minimising energy and water consumption. We are able to carry our specific site energy and water surveys and undertake feasibility studies for the introduction of green technologies and renewable energy.

We employ a whole-life approach to building services engineering, and meet the rising standards of sustainability in well thought-out solutions aimed at enhancing engineering and environmental performance.
