Bailey Partnership undertook a full multi-disciplinary service to provide new offices for Cornish Mutual Assurance, the only general insurer with its headquarters based in the South-West.
The project comprised 3 storey, 20,000 square feet of purpose-built headquarters office accommodation and associated landscaping and parking with river frontage in the centre of Truro. The flood risk was assessed with the car park acting as part of the compensating works.
The high quality design includes a granite floor to the main entrance. The offices are fully comfort cooled and mechanically ventilated with heat recovery. The comfort cooling is zoned on a floor by floor basis with a central contoller. The building is externally lit to illuminate the Forticrete facades.
