Ray Plowman FRICS

Ray Plowman FRICS

Ray is a Chartered Surveyor with more than 30 years experience in Surveying and Project Management, including a period in London with both a private practice and a local authority. He joined the practice in 1984 and became a partner in 1988. His responsibilities extend to a wide range of both public and private sector clients including strategic alliance and framework agreements with HM Prison Service, Land Registry and Local Authorities. Ray is also the partner responsible for Quality Assurance and Information Technology across all offices of the practice.

Maurice West MRICS

Maurice West MRICS

Maurice is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who commenced his career with the Practice in 1975 and became a partner in 1986. He currently works with clients within the education, student accommodation, defence, residential, community, commercial, retail and leisure sectors. Maurice drives the development of our Corporate Social Responsibility, working to integrate responsible business practice across the key areas of environment, marketplace, workplace and community. He is also responsible for Practice Management and Finance. Maurice is Chair of Groundwork Devon and Cornwall, a Director of Groundwork South West Enterprise Limited, Vice Chair of Keyham Community Partnership, a member of the Millbay Advisory Forum and the Millbay Business Forum and a Governor at Devonport High School for Boys.

Tom Jones BSc(Hons) FRICS MSc ACIArb MAPM

Tom Jones BSc(Hons) FRICS MSc ACIArb MAPM

Tom entered professional practice in 1973 and joined the Partnership in 1984 from a leading London Practice and became a Partner in 1988. He is a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Association of Project Managers and has an MSc in Construction Management. Clients include PFI contractors, local authorities, housing associations and property developers. Tom is also the partner responsible for Health and Safety.


Simon Zawada BSc MRICS

Simon Zawada BSc MRICS

Simon is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 18 years experience gained in both the public and commercial sector. Simon joined the practice in 2002 from a major international multi-discipline company to build on the previous growth of the practice in South East England. Simon manages a diverse number of portfolio accounts from Education frameworks through to Inner London Estate Regeneration schemes. Simon is the partner responsible for our Sevenoaks office and the development and management of all services within the South East, together with resourcing of Building Surveying across the practice.

Philip Stuart-Harris BSc(Hons) MRICS

Philip Stuart-Harris BSc(Hons) MRICS

Philip became a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1992 and since 1998 has specialised in the project management of large commercial and public sector projects. He began his career in Bath, where he gained experience of working with historic buildings and he is also a CDM Planning Supervisor. He manages a number of major client partnering and framework agreements for government departments and local authorities together with a number of private sector accounts. Philip is the partner responsible for our Bristol office and for Environmental Matters within the Practice.
