Honiton Community Centre breaks ground
Works commenced on site earlier this month on the new £1.8m Community Centre for Honiton Town Council in Devon. The project has been a client aspiration for some 20 years and Bailey Partnership has provided a multi-disciplinary consultancy service since the summer of 2009, including Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Structural and M&E Services Engineering, Cost Consultancy and CDM Co-ordination.

Bailey Partnership assist with publication on dementia and housing design guidance by RNIB Cymru
Bailey Partnership were delighted to be approached by the RNIB Cymru (Royal National Institute of Blind People) to provide feedback on a publication being drafted on dementia and housing design. The review period has now ended and the guidance document is planned for publication in April 2013 by the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG). The guide covers a wide scope, including all accommodation types but focusing on new build and major refurbishment. It is intended to provide design assistance to people from a wide range of disciplines.

Treliske Wellbeing Innovation Centre
Bailey Partnership's Architecture and Interior Design teams undertook the detail design, RIBA stage D onwards, of the Treliske Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre in Truro, Cornwall, constructed by BAM Construction for Cornwall Council and completed ahead of schedule. The new build regeneration scheme provides 4,500 sq m of medical innovation together with conferencing and meeting facilities. The site is adjacent to the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, Treliske Hospital site.

Early Success on the New University of Reading Frameworks
Bailey Partnership are delighted to have made a strong start to our new frameworks with the University of Reading for Project Management and Quantity Surveying services, having won mini-tenders for both disciplines on a batch of energy efficiency projects at the Whiteknights campus.

Sir Joseph Williamsons Mathematical School
Bailey Partnership is proud to announce the successful completion of the new Art, Design and Technology building for Medway Council / Sir Joseph Williamsons Mathematical School, part of a £12M schools redevelopment fund managed by Bailey Partnership for the extension, modernisation and remodelling of six schools across the Medway area.

No Bogeys for Baileys!
A team from our Exeter office has won the Plate competition at Ashfords Solicitors annual Early Birds Golf Tournament. Held at Exminster Golf Centre on a round-robin basis from mid-May through to the Finals day in July, this was the first year Bailey Partnership had entered a team, so it was particularly pleasing to come away with a trophy.

Bailey Partnership are pleased to have sponsored and also entered a team in the 13th Annual Michelmores Charity Run. Held in atrocious weather on Tuesday 12 June, over 600 ‘athletes’ completed the 5km run in Exeter, started from the Quay by TV actress Caroline Quentin.
