Bailey Partnership Sponsor Charity Run
Bailey Partnership are pleased to have sponsored and also entered a team in the 13th Annual Michelmores Charity Run. Held in atrocious weather on Tuesday 12 June, over 600 ‘athletes’ completed the 5km run in Exeter, started from the Quay by TV actress Caroline Quentin.
This year’s nominated charity was Families for Children, a voluntary adoption agency operating across Devon, Dorset and Cornwall. First held in 2000, the event has raised over £220,000 for local charities and it is hoped that this figure will increase to over £250,000 this year.
Seven staff from our Exeter office participated in this year’s run, with the best time recorded at a respectable 20 minutes 18 seconds. The firm sponsored all the participants’ shirts, raising money for charity whilst at the same time contributing to teambuilding and our CSR programme.
