PFI funded project involving major alterations and extensions to 15 primary schools across the county, including remodelling to provide new entrances, halls, teaching accommodation and grounds. Each school had unique challenges including contemporary additions to listed buildings, bringing educational facilities up to date for the 21st century and providing dynamic learning environments utilising the original shell of 1970's buildings. Close liaison with the individual schools, the LEA and the PFI contractor has assured delivery of a high quality educational design. In addition, we reviewed surveys, advised on costs and the supply chain and undertook life cycle costing.
