Training and Development
We are committed to the ongoing training and development of all our people, from the formal, structured training programmes for school and college leavers and graduates to the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of all our employees. Annual skills gap appraisals are undertaken to identify specific training needs for every member of staff. Using a combination of in-house training programmes, mentoring, coaching and external training, our employees can develop their skills at every stage of their career.
Accredited training schemes such as RIBA, RICS, CIBSE, CIAT, APM and CIOB are offered and there are genuine career opportunities and a reward mechanism in place to recognise the achievement of full membership of a relevant professional institution.
Plans for a £40m college campus have been unveiled in Swansea which include the redevelopment of the former hospital site. Gower College Swansea has appointed Bailey Partnership to lead the Project Management Team, which will include Cost Consultant and CDMC services, to oversee the proposed expansion onto the Hill House Hospital site.
